Since the Word became flesh, the Divine Glory has been manifested in Jesus of Nazareth and all who follow him behold it – John 1:14.
Jesus is the Logos in the Gospel of John, the “Word become flesh” in whom the “Glory of God” resides. He is the True Tabernacle foreshadowed by the Tent carried by Israel in the wilderness where the Glory of Yahweh was manifested in impressive but limited ways. The Crucified Messiah is the true and full manifestation of the Glory of the Living God.

The False Prophet will mimic the Lamb’s servants and sell the Beast from the Sea as the Lamb to the world – Revelation 13:11-18.
Jesus warned of coming deceivers – “false prophets” and “false messiahs” determined to hoodwink the “elect.” In the Book of Revelation, this satanic effort finds its ultimate expression in the “Beast from the Earth,” also called the “False Prophet.” He is a clever imitation of Christ’s true servants and is part of Satan’s final “war” against the people of the “Lamb.”

Popular preaching claims the Church’s victory will be accomplished by the coming massive outpouring of mighty “signs and wonders” as predicted by today’s prophetic voices. This has become the “Holy Grail” of charismatic churches. Only a super revival characterized by wave after wave of miraculous deeds will equip the church to fulfill its Great Commission.
