Dragon, Satan, Short Season

SATAN’S ALLOTTED TIME

The Devil will be granted a final short season to persecute the saints before the end of the age – Revelation 12:12.

When Satan is expelled from heaven, a “great voice” warns that the “Dragon” is enraged since he has only a “short season” remaining to inflict harm on the followers of Jesus. THE SERPENT VS THE SON

Next, war breaks out in “heaven” and the “Dragon” is poised to destroy the messianic son as soon as he is born – Revelation 12:1-6.

Instead, the “Dragon” strives mightily to annihilate the church before his allotted time expires, and, to do so, he employs deception, compromise, and persecution.

LAMB OR DRAGON

The “inhabitants of the earth” refuse to follow the “Lamb,” and instead, choose to give allegiance to the “Beast.”

In the book of Revelation, there are no geographic restrictions on the reign of the “beast.” ALL the “inhabitants of the earth” take its “mark” and render homage to it. Not a single government resists the final incarnation of the “Ancient Serpent,” for it is granted “authority over every tribe, people, tongue and nation.”
